CITEX Project Services chosen as project managers for Diana Memorial
Hyde Park

Citex Project Services (CPS) has been appointed by the Department of Culture, Media and Sport as Project and Cost Managers on the proposed Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial project to be sited near the Serpentine in Hyde Park.

Work on the £3 million memorial project, which will measure approx. 210 linear metres in circumference with associated landscape and ecological enhancement to the park, is due for completion in late Summer of 2004.

Andrew Boyle, CPS's Project Manager on the memorial said: "We are naturally very proud to be associated with this historic project. Our role as Project Manager is particularly wide ranging, from co-ordinating the design team, appointing and monitoring the contractors through to assisting in sourcing the stone for the memorial. The CPS reputation for effective cost control coupled with our extensive project management expertise will stand us in very good stead for this appointment."

The design team of Gustafson Porter and Arup & Partners are finalising their design for the memorial in time for the planning application to be submitted towards the end of the year.
