Royal Parks wins Health & Safety Award
All Parks

The Royal Parks has won a prestigious RoSPA Occupational Health & Safety Award for 2003. The Silver Award will be presented at a special ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel on Wednesday 21st May 2003.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents' Occupational Health & Safety Awards are not only about reducing the number of accidents and cases of ill-health at work; they are also about ensuring that organisations have good health & safety management systems in place. They help to reinforce the message that good health & safety is good business and they clearly demonstrate an organisation's commitment to achieving high levels of performance in this crucial area.

Geoff Brock, Health & Safety Manager for The Royal Parks, said, "This is the first time our organisation has gone in for this award scheme and we're already pretty near the top of the pile nationally. Its good news for everyone who works in the Parks and all our millions of visitors as well."
