Robin Hood Gate Closure
Richmond Park

Robin Hood Gate, in Richmond Park, will be closed to road traffic from Tuesday 26th August 2003 as part of plans to reduce the impact of traffic within the Park. The gate is already closed to southbound traffic. The closure is part of a twelve month trial with an interim review after 3 months. The gate will still remain open for pedestrians, horse riders and cyclists. No other gates will be affected.

The Royal Parks will be working with the surrounding boroughs and Transport for London to gauge the impact on traffic of the trial closure.
