Mammals

Hedgehog The Regent's Park is one of the few sites in central London where the Hedgehog is still found. Once a familiar mammal throughout London, it has become increasingly scarce and has disappeared from almost all parks and squares in central London. Other mammals include the Fox, Brown Rat, House Mouse, grey squirrel and Woodmouse. The Park is also good for bats with five species recorded; Common and Soprano Pipistrelle, Noctule, Serotine and Daubenton's bats.
