Birds

Tawny owls Greenwich Park is an excellent site for bird watching. Over a year you can expect to see up to 70 wild bird species. More than 30 of those breed in the Park, including woodpeckers, tawny owls, thrushes and warblers. Over the last 10 years, volunteers have recorded as many as 90 species of birds in the Park. For more information you can download a 10-year bird list with further information on each species.
