Restoration Project - Fundraising & Partnerships
To enable us to complete the many elements of this exciting Project and to help ensure that funds are in place to maintain
the Park over the coming years, we need significant capital investment.
For us to secure the £4.5 million pledged by the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF), The Royal Parks, working closely with The Royal Parks Foundation, must raise almost £1.5 million by November 2005. This is broken down as follows:
| Total cost of Restoration Project |
£7,230,000 |
| Project development funding from HLF |
£410,000 |
| Potential funding for implementation from HLF |
£4,500,000 |
| Royal Parks' contribution |
£854,000 |
| Partnership funding |
| (to be raised by the Foundation & others) |
£752,000 |
| Funding shortfall - pledges needed |
£713,000 |
We are extremely grateful to the Weston Foundation for their grant of £250,000 towards the project and to our other funding partners. However we are still seeking partners to work with us on this exciting and prestigious project. Whether you are an individual, business or other organisation there is a wide range of sponsorship and gift opportunities covering a variety of areas, such as supporting the new Education Programme or the creation of a new Visitor Welcome Centre.
